Random Thoughts...

How did you get to be such a good guy? You're a good guy. Oh, and enough with the Spinal Tap questions. Really...

I do the best that I can, I guess. Oh, and I'll make sure Tim and Jessy get your memo... -CH

Top Ten Local Bands...

I noted that you left Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome off your top ten list of best local bands. Do you not agree that they have the finest musicians in town in their band? If you do not disagree with that, how is it that you would leave this fine band off of your top ten listing?

I do indeed agree that a very good portion of PTFS is made up of the finest top-call musicians in town. Many of those musicians I have played with and gigged with at some time or another during my tenure here in Fargo. The main reason I did not include them in the top ten, however, was because the four times I have seen them, while I agree that they play well, I just don't get into them at the bar. When I go to see a band at a bar, I want to see a bar band playing and entertaining- reaching out to the people in the bar and having a goofy and fun time with it all. When I watch PTFS, I see a show band in front of me. The only fun I have watching them is watching Nick kick the band, watching Toby funk out while he plays, and Al making his signature faces when he plays a ripping solo. I guess I just like a band that says and does stupid things on stage- which I consider stage presence. I never said that PTFS is a bad sounding band, because they're just not. But entertaining to watch- not so much. Also, I felt an underlying non-written question wondering if PTFS didn't make my list because of Patents Pending's breakup? Do you think PTFS was factor in our breakup from the bar scene? Maybe. That's a closed book and ended chapter that I don't personally worry about any longer. -CH

Check That Spelling...

In your 'Upcoming Events' section you listed the FM symphony as playing a piece by Schönberg. It should be noted that Schoenberg anglicized his name and had it legally changed to Schoenberg due to his disdain for Nazi Germany; thus I think that it would be appropiate of you to use proper spelling for his respect at the very least.

I have changed it based on your comment. You might want to send the same comment to the FM Symphony. I took the program directly off their site, and that was the spelling they had there. -CH

Anyone Seen That Other Guy...

Has anyone seen that other fellow- the one with the side burns who is rumored to be the other webmaster on this site?

I know what you mean. I heard a rumor not too long ago that he was busy planning a wedding. Nonetheless, if you hear from him, let me know too. -CH

Leave Me Alone...

I've heard a lot of negative feedback about the Tim Smith poll. Maybe it's time you take it down.

I never heard any negative feedback on it, but I'll take it down anyhow. Perhaps there was negative feedback, but moreso, the poll has been up there for way too long. -CH

Seriously, Folks...

When are you guys going to start writing serious stuff again, such as the Five for Five section, which I enjoyed so much. It showed off a more exposed, but amazingly emotionally honest side of your minds.

Expect more of it sometime in the very near future. -CH

More Tim Smith Thoughts...

I think you should have a poll to let the people decide whether or not to ban Tim Smith from submitting any more completely timewasting questions to this section of your beatiful site. Personal note to Tim- your questions are like free jazz- most of the time only fun for you, bitch.

I'm not too sure what to make of that, though I have to admit that some of Tim's questions suck. However, the above mentioned comment was signed off by 'Roy Bivins' (one of the members of 90's pop group Bel Biv DeVoe), which I question a little bit. So, Tim can still send questions and add to the site anytime he wants- it's a free country and all. If his questions suck, I'll answer as such. -CH

Updating...

I'm glad to see that you're updating from time to time, now. What in the world has happened to Beseler, though?

I'm happy to be updating more. And, as for Beseler, you'd have to ask him what happened to him. You can e-mail him from links on the front page of the site. -CH

Tequila...

Hopefully you don't believe that tequila is a drug that helps.

Lighten up. It's a joke. Wow. -CH

Be Nice to Mike Lehmann...

I've noticed several statemants now, which hint at a dislike in Mike Lehmann. Why? He's a good guy. And quite cuddly.

See my 'Chris Speaks' section from September 6th in response to your comment. As for Mike being cuddly, I can't comment for the record on such a topic. -CH

Tim Smith...

I think Tim Smith is the most offensive person I've ever not met. From reading his work, I can assume that he has no soul. May God have mercy upon his soul.

I find some of Tim's work pretty tasteless and even offensive as well, but believe it or not, I've gotten more compliments about his section than complaints. Anyhow, keep in mind the little warning pop-ups that come with his section. Also, if you want to comment on Tim's work, his e-mail address is at the end of each of his sections. He'd probably love to hear from you. Otherwise, if you think you might be offended, don't read it! -CH

Rush...

What is your f$%@ing beef with Rush? Have you heard anything other than Spirit of the Radio or Tom Sawyer?

First of all, all I did was say that I think 'Spirit of Radio' is overplayed, and face it, lots of people would probably agree with the overplaying of that particular song on our two classic radio stations in Fargo. And, yes, I have heard plenty of Rush in my life other than those two songs you mentioned. To be completely blunt with you, it's Geddy Lee's voice that I'm not a huge fan of, it's simply really annoying after a while. I would say that Rush is one of the most technically gifted rock bands out there, and the instrumental make up and forms of their songs are crisp and artfully and technically acurate, and those kinds of attention to detail most certainly are sure signs oy extraordinary musicianship. Anyhow, keep in mind that there are probably bands that I like that you don't care for, and I'm not getting on your case for it. Think about that before you jump up someone's ass at first sign that they have their own honest and unbiased opinions and reasons for liking or not liking a band. It's not personal, it's an opinion. Now, lighten up. -CH

What?

Beth? (A response to Christopher's choice for #1 ballad by a rock or metal act)

Yup, Beth. I love that song. -CH

The Tainted Quiz...

How is it possible that a kid who has known you for a month gets high score on the Hanson quiz? It doesn't take a genius to figure out a way to cheat...and I'm pretty sure Mr. Hinmann has done just that. It isn't possible for him to get #1 and all your friends who have known you for years to get 47-65%. I call for a direct withdrawl of his #1 score, due to obvious cheating. Cheater, cheater, poopey-eater...

It was just a fun quiz. Relax. -CH

St. Patricks Day Pictures...

Does Marcie teach at NDSU, because she looks a lot like my freshman English TA.

Marcie was more than likely your freshman English TA, she did that for a while before graduating with her masters degree. Marcie is married to one of my best high school buddies, Mike Pagan. -CH

Perversions of Al Berg's Name...

I like the picture of Al-abama, very fitting.

Ever been to Alabama before? That picture is very fitting. -CH

Mike Vacha's Entry...

The following is taken from Mike Vacha's Xanga. Thanks, man, it was refreshing to see and read...

In one of my few classes this semester (I'm only taking two), we got to talking just a little bit about tradition and nostalgia. In the class, the context was that when new technologies come around, people get nostalgic about the old technologies and how much better they were. If you think about it, you realize it can be true. People like me yearn for the old days of the Super Nintendo. Some people still maintain that a record sounds better than a CD. Still others drive classic cars.

Why do we do it? Fond memories. Listening to your favorite song on a record reminds you of the good old days. Listening to the same song on a CD won't cut it. For me, it has to do with my Super Nintendo. I loved that system, and I maintain that, for its time, it was the greatest video game system ever. I still remember the time I had strep throat and I had to miss 6 days of school. I spent all six days playing a game called "The Secret of Mana." I have fond memories of those 6 days...which is why I will never sell my Super Nintendo. The games I have for it are worth a lot of money, but I can't sell the memories. Even if I only take the system out to play it once a year, I can't sell it.

Which brings me to the original point of this talk. I read Chris Hanson's recent thoughts about the Gold Star Concert Band, and how he dislikes their disregard for tradition. A part of me wants to tell him to let go, that he isn't in the band anymore. He brings up a lot of names that most people in the band wouldn't recognize: a part of me wants to tell him that naming them is pointless because the names mean nothing to the current members.

I stop myself, and realize how I feel about marching band. I was never good enough to be in concert band (well, I was in there one semester, but that's for another day - it didn't have much of an impact on me), but I met basically every friend I have in marching band. I try to not pay attention to what happens there these days, but some trickles in every once in awhile, and it makes me sad. I had so much fun in marching band that I hate the thought of it changing one bit. I want it to remain the same, for the sake of the other people. If I had so much fun there, surely they will, right? If I can meet all of my friends and my wife there, shouldn't they?

I know it's impractical for me to think everyone is like me and enjoys the things I do. It's impractical for me to expect them to keep it the same now as it was when I was there.

I don't care if it is impractical. But, since it is impractical, I try to distance myself. I don't want to know how marching band has changed; I want to imagine it's still the same.

So, Chris, I agree with you. Maybe we're wrong, but I take some comfort in this thought: someday, when the people currently changing they bands reach the point we're at (no longer in the bands, but still having fond memories of them), they'll be in the same spot we are. They will see the band changing, and they'll agonize over it, and they'll wish it was the same as when they were there. I know it won’t stop the band from changing, but it, in a way, vindicates our point of view.

Replies to Chris Speak's about the GSB...

It wasn't the tradition that was traumatic. It was the association with a past event that was. I have no problem with tradition or with the rest of the band carrying on this particular tradition. That statement was for me and anyone else who may have felt uncomfortable with the goings on. Not to, as you put it, convince others to abandon a long-time and harmless tradition. I'm not being angry or offended here. I just want you to understand what I wrote a little better.

I understand and hope that I have not upset you or angered you at all, you're a fine musician that I respect even though I don't know you incredibly well. Thanks for your reply and for answering my questions, it's very cool of you to do so. -CH

Very well written, Chris. Especially on the traditions stuff. Yeah, some stuff can change over the years. But things that have been with the band a long time, and 99.99999999% of the band enjoys- suck it up and go with it. Tour without Christopher Hanson = let me check outside to see if the world has ended. We'll miss ya, Chris.

Thanks, man, that means a lot. -CH

Thanks...

Not to be all mushy and lovey and 'I want to have your babies!' and stuff, I can honestly say that you have had a great influence on my music and my life. Back in the day when I was still in HS and took lessons from you, I looked up to you. I thought maybe if I practice a lot he'll think I'm really good or something. And I still do. When I came to NDSU I thought it was awesome to be able to play the same music, to play in the same bands as you. And what do I think now? The same thing. If you get nothing else out of music (or at least this paragraph), at least know that you've made a profound impact on a fellow musician.

Thanks (again). It's good to know that I've helped someone out musically to such an extent. It's a really nice feeling. I'm proud to have been your teacher for a while, and it was an honor to play with you as a member of the band. Keep up the good work, you've got the talent, don't stop playing. -CH

House of Hanson...

There is a groady little grocery store in Dinkytown (a little area near the East Bank campus of the U of M) titled "The House of Hanson". Reading the title on your web page just made me put the two together.

You are absolutely correct. I was out there in October with Joel Thompson and we saw that place. He took a picture of it on his phone, but never got it to me which bummed me out, but next time I'm there, I'll get a shot of it. -CH

Valentine's Day Sentiment...

I hate Valentine's Day too! I just saw the creative pic on the homepage and had to laugh.

Right on, brother. -CH

The Link to Kristen...

Who is Kristen, and how do you expect anyone to read anything on your site when they can go to her site? Maybe don't put her link on top of your page, maybe more towards the bottom, so people can see what you have to offer first. Seriously. I'm not kidding.

I found Kristen's site to be quite interesting and very good overall, and that's why I put it on the top of the page labled as 'a site everyone should read'. I don't know Kristen personally, I found it randomly through a friend who did the same. As for your suggestion, I do appreciate feedback, but in response to how you worded your suggestion, I reply this way: I don't tell you (whoever you are) how to dress in the morning or how to arrange your apartment. Don't tell me what to do in an impolite manner.-CH

A Plea...

You better join jazz band next semester, or else I'll cry.

I would love to be a part of it, but this past semester has made me wonder whether I have 'aged out' of that group, after all, I did 10 semesters in the group. I think it might be my time to bow out and let the young kids take over for good. However, the jury is still out, and I'll make a decision before January about whether I will come back to the music department or school at all in the spring of 2006. -CH-

Drucker is Still Alive...

Hey Chris, wanna post a picture of the band freshman? I wouldn't want to miss anything....

Anyone in the band who reads this may want to (or may not want to) fill this request for Matt Drucker, after all, the guy is in the middle of Africa and no longer has the chance to prey on freshman ladies as he had over the past five years. Anyhow, glad to see that you're sill alive and kicking. See you in a two years. -CH

Thoughts about the Site...

Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
After viewing your website,
I could stab myself in the eye.

Chris- the previous statement is not true. We enjoyed your website this morning. Very funny stuff. How's it going with that marriage list?

Thanks...I think? Glad that you visited...or something. As for the marriage list, there have been no recent additions to the list. I'm not on the list, either, but if you do see my name on there, let me know. -CH

A Tardy (But Appreciated) Thought about Jass...

Congratulations on another successful Jass! It looks as though it was awesome. Don't worry about the nay-sayer. Sounds like a lack of charcter and inner strength.

Thank you for the thoughts, and as for the nay-sayer, I'm with you on that. -CH

Save My Life...

I saw your posting on songs that make your ears bleed. As far as what's up with Head East's sound, I guess the only thing I point you toward is: http://www.johnschlitt.net. You might want to turn the sound down on your computer...

Thanks, Brent, as always. -CH

Petroleum Jelly Explained in English...

Regarding the petroleum jelly question: Petroleum jelly, (also known as White Petrolatum) is indeed made from petroleum distillates. It is often used as a base for cosmetics, ointments, and other pharmaceuticals due to it's non-mixability with water. You don't need to post this, but I thought I would try and translate the untranslatable for you. Anyway, if anyone has any related questions, I would gladly help answer them.

Al Berg, ladies and gentlemen, Al Berg. -CH

Viewer Reply to the Jass E-mail Scandal...

I felt very discouraged about the email sent to Christopher about Jass. I know alot of other people are also. The remark about "scraping the bottom for other players" was outrageous and uncalled for. Obviously this is someone who has friends (well I guess you don't speak very highly of them) in the festival and has probably attended it before. That is outright rude and and an insult to all those who participated. Good ridance, and I hope you read this.

Thank you for your thoughts, which obviously echo mine. -CH

Regarding Chris Speaks on June 2...

Dammit- you're a musician because for the fleeting moments you're playing with others, your brain stops asking those questions. That's part of our unspoken bond- we just occupy different areas of it.

Well said, and well taken, you always remind me of what I need to remember. -CH

Jass 2005...

I went and enjoyed. Best of all, the program kept moving. Right length. Good job.

Thank you for your comment on the festival, we really did have a great time putting the show together and presenting our program, and I'm glad that you and all the other people came out despite the wind. Our goal was to present a good show that did in fact move along at a good pace, and fit the show's four groups into a 100 minute time slot, only 10 minutes longer than we had planned. Thanks again for the compliments. -CH

Domain Name...

When will you be changing your domain name to something else now that Beseler is onboard? Also, might I add that the website is much better now that you two are working on it so often.

It is a pleasure to have Beseler working with me on the site, and his ambition to work and update has further pushed me to write as well. As for the domain name, it probably won't change for a little while longer, but when it does we'll let you know what it is. It'll probably end up as something like hansonandbeseler.com, but we'll let you know when it happens. Thanks for reading, and keep stopping by. -CH

Power Hours...

I got one thing to say about your opinion on the power hour, under your commentary...A-men brother...even though you aren't my brother. You have the very same thoughts I do about the whole situation. Just thought I'd let you know.

Thanks for your nod of approval, I feel pretty strongly about this. -CH

Posting the E-Mail and the Response...

For my comfort, did you get an OK to put that letter (the e-mail about marching band) on your website? Just thought it's a pretty touchy subject and if I were him, and you put an e-mail I wrote to you up on the website without my permission, I'd be pretty pissed.

First of all, no I did not get this person's permission to post the e-mail. The name has been removed from the e-mail and/or references to who sent the e-mail in the first place. While I understand that one might be pissed off for my posting of their e-mail on the site, I feel that this person waived their 'reasonable right to privacy' when they sent the e-mail out to over fifteen people in the first place. I believed that this was a thought that was important enough to share with everyone, and if this person wanted to air their thoughts about the band and it's members as a whole, perhaps the whole band should know this person's thoughts, also. -CH

A Note from Cheryl Strayed...

Dear Christopher,

Thank you for your very kind email. I so much appreciate that you took the time to reach out and tell me that my work affected you. I envy you, being in Fargo right now; I miss the winters. I live in Portland, Oregon these days, and though I love it, there is nothing like the snow of the upper Midwest.

I visited your web site and it's lots of fun. Best of luck to you in your music and your writing. I do hope to make it to Fargo to do a reading when my novel comes out (in about a year). I'll send you an email to give you a heads up once I have something scheduled.

Best,
Cheryl

I was incredibly pleased to receive this response to an e-mail I sent to Ms. Strayed yesterday. Her works are outstanding and I encourage anyone to read her creations. Anyhow, I'm thrilled that she took some time to check out the site, and I hope that she comes back every now and then to check in and see how things are going in North Dakota... -CH

Fred Fennell...

A local columnist referred to Frederick Fennell in today's Duluth News Tribune. Thought you might enjoy it.

Thank you, Mr. Fennell deserves more press. -CH

Doing Something for Yourself...

I just wanted to let you know that your last For What It's Worth was really fabulous. I adore your sincerity and truly wish more people could possess that characteristic.

That's one of the nicest compliments I've ever received for my work on the site, especially when it comes to working with a serious set of subjects. Thank you so much. -CH

Your Site...

I hadn't really read through much of your site as of late, and today I was pleased to find a couple entries you had put in. I liked your For What It's Worth about moving on. Although I understand and definatly know you understand this pain, I feel as you do- one should move on, and stop torturing his/herself. No one can ask a person to be better overnight, but I feel from what I see that many are holding on, and since many hold your opinion in high regards, that was an appropriate entry.

Also, your Great Northern article was interesting too. Who was it that had told the GM who you were and had her talk to you? Just curious. In any case, you've got a good point. I think the Great Northern management understands, especially for jazz players like you, that you don't get the shot to play at Basie's all that often if ever, and the young talent getting a shot at a place like the Great Northern is something good for young musicians. Obviously, she felt her degree and graduate status should automatically give her respect, regardless of her attitude or abilities. In any case, another well written article I felt...

Thanks for those kind words about the site, it's always nice to hear feedback like that from viewers. As far as who told the GM about me and my thoughts, it was none other than our good friend, Rick Gion. He meant good by doing so, and I actually do appreciate him trying to help out. His intentions were good natured, while her reply was not. -CH

Background Music...

What ever happened to the MIDI background music? If people don't like it, why don't they just mute it?

I figured it was best to get rid of the music. Annoying people is bad enough, but to suggest to them that it's their fault that they're annoyed, it doesn't work well. I must be loved. I must be accepted. I will do what I have to do. -CH

Why I Love Those Flute Players So Damned Much...

I would just like to comment on the fine website you have. I love it. We just wanted to drop in a message regarding the whole date with the flute ladies. You still game? We wanted to know! Also, we would like to add that you should update the girls you'd like to marry list- maybe start thinking about us freshmen. (Wink, wink...) Just kidding, dude- I think that's cool and someday when I have a hella lotta time, I, too, would like to make a website. I feel I know you so much better...

Glad to see that the site is serving it's purpose, I guess. 1) I want people to know me (and Beseler) better, after all, we're the age anchor of the band, after all. 2) Girls read my site, and that makes everything better. 3) I love flute players, and the more they read my site (and send me e-mails regarding it), the happier I am. Life is good. -CH

Parties...

I've heard so much about your parties at your house, when will you get another house? Though parties have been fun at the other three places so far, I hear you really tossed a good party for the band.

Yes, my GSMB parties were great and are perhaps hard to match. I wish I could get my old house back and I wish I could host the parties, indeed. However, we should thank those who have allowed us to enjoy parties so far this year. There's a certain amount of work and responsibility that comes with doing those things, and I for one appreciate it when someone hosts the party. I know what it's like. Anyhow, I do indeed wish I could host the party again, and it was my pleasure and privilage to aid in the social aspects of the band. -CH

80's Music...

Just finished reading your rave about the hotel music, but I’m afraid I’m going to have to offer a few corrections.

Broken Wings is actually by Mr. Mister. Now, don’t feel bad – not only do I have the CD that the song comes from (Welcome to the Real World), but I also have the follow up CD that had zero hits in the 80's – but is actually quite good.

True is actually a one-hit wonder by a British band called Spandau Ballet. They had another little tiny hit called Gold that you’d only know if you were paying attention to the radio from 8:07PM to 8:11PM on June 6, 1983.

Why do I know all this pointless stuff? Simple...I’m old...

You make me feel so young. -CH

Live with Christopher Hanson?

Ever thought about your own radio talk show? Working at a hotel must suck, you could most certainly make it with your own broadcasted show.

Working at a hotel does suck. But, a talk show to broadcast all of my thoughts? A website is certainly enough for the world. -CH

Updates?

You need to update your site! I don't have anything to do at work...

Now that Jass is over with, I guess I have some time to write on the site again. Sorry to keep you hanging like that... -CH

Brutally Honest...

I don't know you real well and I don't see you too often, especially in the summertime, but after reading some of your stuff on the site, I admit that a lot of your work is good, but often, you're completely full of sh--.

I agree with both of your statements. Thank you? -CH

Short and Sweet...

I think that your site is funny.

It's nice to hear that once in a while, especially when most of my friends think I'm so not very funny! -CH

A Question of Validity

You don't know me, but I came upon your site somehow. I admit that I enjoy reading what you have to say, mostly in your For What It's Worth section. I'm curious to know, though, where do you find the objectiveness to write what you do about either your own situations or other people's situations? Are you aiming these thoughts at people you know, or are you dreaming this stuff up? Are you like me and you like to think you know a lot?

I don't say that my thoughts or opinions are anything that anybody should agree with, but rather, I share simply what I see and think from my own thoughts and observations. It's not always direct advice, but rather, a view from the outside looking in. I never claimed to know everything about the situations, and I most certainly would never say that anything I talk about on that section is right or wrong, but rather, simply a somewhat educated opinion at best. As for the answer to your other question, often my topics are based on happenings of people I know, but other times, not based on real-life situations as I see them. -CH

Continuation of Politics

Everyone has a right to thier opinion, but NOBODY has the right to be an ass...especially to my friends.

Sometimes one's opinion may seem that way, and I thank you for your defense. As for his remarks, I accept them at face value, and perhaps to an extent as sarcasm may stretch. Everyone has their ways of making a point. I choose a different road. -CH

A Way to Stay in the Loop...

I just wanted to let you know I have enjoyed reading your website over the years. You are a kind-hearted person, and it is totally awesome that you can put your emotions out there for everyone to see. Keep it up, it will probably be the only way I hear about some of my GSB friends.

I'm glad that you enjoy the site and it's content, whether it was the rumor mill, the drama, the serious, and/or the funny. Keep checking back to the site, and best of luck on your road to success. -CH

A Response about Politics...

I think it's cool that you have political stuff on your page, no matter who it's for, and that more college people should get involved by volunteering and getting other students to register and vote. That ass that posted that negative stuff about it has no respect for democracy and for other people in general...

I appreciate your suggestion taht young people should indeed get involved in the political process, as I too often hear people say that they don't care about politics despite the fact that the process we speak of is what runs our country. As for your feelings about the previous message, I do understand what you feel, but I do respect everyone's right to an opinion even if I don't necesarilly agree with it. -CH

Your Site Has Been Hacked...

Omigoshomigoshomigosh! I think your site has been hacked! Someone put a horribly terrible link to the Kerry campaign on your homepage...and it's big, too. What sort of demented, uniformed person would do such a atrocious thing? There is also a dreadful image in the left frame that says "Anyone But Bush in 2004". Terrorists! May they piss on their fingers! Re-elect Bush - at least he has a platform.

In response to your comments and thoughts, I made the Kerry logo smaller. -CH

What I Like

I love the fun star-wars-esque background to your pages. It makes me happy.

Well, I did it with you in mind, so what do you say- dump that loser of a boyfriend and run away with me? I'll grab the stars for you...and I'll rope the moon. -CH

The Student Written Marching Band Show

Are they going to do more student-produced shows in the future? Your show with "Hotel California" rocked! The Gold Star Marching Band deserves more respect than it receives. Kudos to you all!

Thanks for the anonymous compliment about the show and more importantly, the band. I personally enjoyed putting the music together. Of course, much credit needs to go to the drill writters, the drum majors, Dr. Olfert, and the band itself. Yes, I would love to do another show next year, but we need to see how the schedule looks for logistical reasons. Keep posted to the site, you'll know when we know. -CH

The Webmaster is Stupid

What's up with the frames? And why don't you format it so I'm not caught in your frames when I link out of your site? Is the 'target=_top' tag that difficult to write in the coding?

Regarding the Commentary: Vocalists vs. Instrumentalists

Hey Chris,

I want to thank you for writing about this exact issue. I wish I knew what their problem was, because I know that TBS feels like they have totally stabbed us in the back. Especially since in the past we usually did most of the work.

I would also like to say thanks for getting in contact with Erika about TBS doing something for the band with you guys. I sure hope that we are able to come up with a coprimise on the date and time thing.

Anywho, those are my random thoughts, like the site!
