Patrick Thiel, originally from Minot, North Dakota, is currently attending North Dakota State University, studying music education. He has been a big part of the NDSU Concert Band and the jazz ensemble, and is presently a drum major with the NDSU Gold Star Marching Band, serving his third semester as a student leader. Thiel is also active as a vocalist at NDSU.
