Jessy Klimpel, a native of Minot, North Dakota, presently is a music education major at North Dakota State University. He attended Minot High School where he was very active in the Minot High School Jazz Ensemble and Symphonic Winds Band. At NDSU Jessy has studied classical and jazz saxophone under the direction of Dr. Matthew Patnode during his four years, and also has additional jazz studies with Dr. Monty Cole. While at NDSU Jessy has participated in the NDSU Jazz Ensemble, Gold Star Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, NDSU Jazz Combo, Saxology, and the NDSU Saxophone Quartet. Jessy plans on graduating in the Fall of 2006.
