Kacie Hughes, from West Fargo, North Dakota, is an accomplished drummer and percussionist. She participated heavily with drum corp and drum lines throughout her high school time, and also learned the ropes of jazz and rock drumming. Since then, she has gone on to North Dakota State University where she is presently studying clinical laboratory science. Hughes continues to perform with the 188th (North Dakota National Guard) Army Band, where she plays in the jazz combo, big band, Blues in Green rock ensemble, and the concert and marching bands.
