Congratulations...
It is with a great deal of joy that I congratulate John Fred and his wife Ann Marie Fred on the birth of their daughter, Juliana Marie Fred. She was born about five weeks early, but is in good health and doing quite well. Juliana was born on Labor Day (how ironic, isn't it?) at 5:27am in Washington DC where John and Ann Marie reside.
In John's words, he describes the day this way...
"We were in Cleveland Friday night and Saturday for a baby shower, and
we drove back Sunday. I had to finish some things back in DC, and so
I headed right to work. As I was finishing up some work in the office
about 10 P.M., I got a call from Ann Marie that her water had broken.
We called the doctor, and she told us to come into the hospital. I
drove home, threw some stuff into a nightbag for myself (she already
had packed hers and the baby's), and we headed to Inova Alexandria
Hospital. Once there, we were told that she might have to spend 1-2
weeks in the hospital because she was not yet dilated. About six
hours later, Juliana was here."
Congratulations to the Fred family on their newest addition!
